Steeped in the history of the Welsh Gold era
the family run self catering complex, situated on the banks of the River
Mawddach within seventeen acres of forestry.The Bungalow comprises of the converted
stables, offices and workshops of a Blasting Powder Works and Tyddyn Gwladys
Gold Mine.
Gold for the Royal Wedding Rings was produced
locally.
Mostyn Cottage was originally accommodation
for the senior workmen from the Gold Mine.
In the local area there is also a disused
Copper Mine.
A short drive away at Blaenau Ffestiniog are
the impressive slate caverns while at Harlech the castle stands
overlooking the sea.
